Questions
Are the proportions kept?
Yes: enter just the width or the height — the other one is calculated. To get exactly the width and height you typed, turn off the lock between the fields.
How do I shrink a photo by percent?
Pick “Custom”, switch to “%” and enter a number: 50% halves the width and height, and cuts the pixel count by four.
Can I make a photo bigger?
Yes, “Custom” accepts a larger size. But it adds no detail — the photo gets bigger, not sharper.
