What is a Mini App
A Telegram Mini App is a mini app that opens right in the chat and instantly knows who opened it. Catalog, cart, booking or payment — nothing to install, no sign-up.
Just write — I’ll take it from there. I’ll estimate your task at no cost.

In plain English
A Mini App (also known as a Telegram Web App or a mini-application) is a web page that opens inside Telegram, in a window over the chat. A person taps a button in a bot or a message — and instead of messages, they see a full screen: a coffee shop menu, a catalog, a booking calendar or a personal account.
One thing sets it apart from a regular website: the app knows right away who opened it — Telegram tells it. So no sign-up, no password, no confirmation email. And nothing to download from an app store: the client already has Telegram, and that’s enough.
For a business, it’s a shorter path to an order. The client doesn’t jump from the chat to a website or type in their details twice — they choose, pay and see the confirmation right where they started. You get the order in Telegram and, if it suits you, in a spreadsheet too.
The same app opens on iPhone, Android and desktop, and takes its colors from the Telegram theme itself — dark or light.

When to use what
The choice isn’t about trends — it’s about what the client needs to do.

Comparison
They all live in one chat, so the names get mixed up. The difference is what the client sees: messages or a whole screen.
Messaging: questions, answers, buttons with options. A bot is great at reminding, confirming and messaging the client on its own. But a long product list in a chat gets clumsy.
That’s what people usually call a bot with a button that opens a web page. So it’s a bot and a Mini App together: the conversation happens in the chat, choosing and paying on the screen.
A separate screen inside Telegram: catalog, cart, calendar, account, payment. The client is already recognized, and there’s nothing to install.
The app handles choosing and payment, the bot handles reminders and the first message to the client. Both run under one account, and I support them myself.
Features
A bot talks in messages, and a long list gets lost there. A Mini App shows everything at once: items with sizes, available slots in a calendar, the cart, the client’s account.
The client scrolls through the menu or products, picks size and quantity and builds a cart of several items — without leaving Telegram.
The person sees which slots are available and picks the one that suits them. The booking reaches you with the date, time and contact already in it.
Payment happens inside the app, with no jump to another site. The money goes to you — through a payment provider you sign the contract with.
Live demo
This is working code, not a picture. Build a cart and place an order — and see what reaches you that very second.
Client journey
Four steps — from a button in the chat to the confirmation.
The client messages your bot or gets a message from it with a button, like “Open menu.”
The Mini App opens: products, sizes, available times. Telegram has already told the app who this is — no form to fill in.
The person builds a cart or picks a time and pays without leaving the window.
The client sees the confirmation in the same chat, and you get the order in Telegram or in a spreadsheet.
Questions
A Telegram Mini App is a mini app that opens inside the chat and knows right away who opened it. It can show a catalog, cart, booking calendar, account or payment, and the client doesn’t need to install anything.
No, they’re three names for the same thing: a web app that opens inside Telegram. Telegram Web App is the older name, Mini App is the current one.
A web bot is usually a Telegram bot with a button that opens a web page right in the chat. Essentially, it’s a bot and a Mini App in one account: messaging in the chat, choosing and paying on the screen.
When a person opens a Mini App, Telegram itself tells the app who they are. So there’s no password, no confirmation email and no account to create.
On the outside, a Mini App looks like a regular app: its own screens, buttons and cart. But nobody searches for it in an app store or installs it — it opens from a Telegram chat.
The price of a Mini App depends on how many screens it has and what they do: catalog, booking, payment, account. I’ll quote the exact amount personally after we first talk, and from then on, it won’t go up.
For a Mini App, it’s enough to describe one real order: what the client chooses, what details they enter and what they get at the end. I’ll ask about the rest when we talk and handle it myself.
