Site after the update Site before the refresh

Real work: the Homeuyut furniture workshop website

Who it’s for

Why your website loads slowly

A slow site is rarely slow because of one thing. Usually it’s a pile of small things: photos straight from a phone, several fonts where one would do, plugins and widgets someone installed and forgot, and hosting that takes its time before every page.

This is for you if you already have a site and it mostly works for you, but it opens so slowly that people close the tab before they reach the request form. You don’t need to redo everything: I remove exactly what slows it down, and the design and copy stay.

What to prepare: your site’s address, the few pages that matter most to you, and access to your hosting or the site’s admin panel. If you don’t have access, we’ll figure out together which parts of the site you control right now.

Straight talk

What speed does for you, and what I don’t promise

Speed isn’t a magic button. Here’s what it really changes and how I show it.

Mobile, separately

A site loads differently on a phone than on a computer, and the test shows it as a separate number. I check and speed up both versions, not just one.

A fair comparison

Before and after — the same pages and the same tool. You see the difference in numbers, not in my words.

Fewer people leave

While the page is still blank, people are already hitting “back.” A fast site keeps them long enough to reach the form and send a request.

No ranking promises

Speed helps in search, but your place in Google also depends on your copy and your competitors. So I don’t promise search rankings.

No full rebuild

Design, copy and page URLs stay the same. I change what slows things down under the hood — people see the same site, just faster.

What’s included

Website speed optimization without a rebuild

First — a speed test

I run your main pages through Google PageSpeed — mobile and desktop separately. I write down the numbers and tell you exactly what’s slowing things down: photos, fonts, scripts or the server.

Heavy photos and fonts

I shrink images to the size they’re actually shown on screen. I keep only the fonts the page really needs.

Extra scripts and plugins

I remove what loads but does nothing: forgotten tracking codes, widgets, disabled plugins. What you do need, I load so it doesn’t hold up the page.

Slow hosting

If the hosting is slow to respond, edits on the site won’t fix it. I tell you straight and explain what can be changed — the decision is yours.

How it works

How to speed up your site without downtime

From you — the site address and access. The rest is my job.

  1. Site address

You send the link and tell me which pages matter most: home, services, cart. That’s where I start.

  2. Test and fix list

I measure speed and show you the numbers and causes. You see exactly what I’ll do before I start.

  3. Work on a copy

I speed up a test copy, not the live site. Clients keep messaging you while I work.

  4. Re-test

After your “yes,” the changes go to the live site. I measure again and put the before and after numbers side by side.

Price on request

I’ll quote the price personally after our first conversation — and it won’t go up after that.

Questions

Website speed questions

What does website speed optimization do for me?

A fast site loses fewer people who give up waiting for the page and leave without sending a request. Speed also helps in Google, but on its own it doesn’t guarantee a place in search.

Why does my site take so long to load pages?

Most often a site is slowed down by heavy photos, extra fonts, scripts and plugins on every page, or slow hosting. Usually it’s several causes at once, so first I measure and look for what slows down your site in particular.

What if my site is slow or won’t open at all?

If the site doesn’t open at all, that’s an outage, not a speed issue, and it has to be fixed first. Message me: I’ll look at what happened, and once the site works again, we move on to speed.

My site is on WordPress, Bitrix or Tilda — can you help?

I speed up WordPress or Bitrix sites the same way as ones built from scratch: first I look at what slows down your site in particular. On a builder like Tilda, I do what it allows and tell you straight what it won’t let you change.

Do you guarantee a certain PageSpeed score?

I don’t promise a specific speed score in advance: it depends on the hosting and on what has to stay on the site. After the first test I tell you what’s realistic, and at the end I show both results side by side.

What does the price depend on?

The price depends on how many things slow the site down and what it’s built on. I’ll name the exact amount after our first conversation — and it won’t go up after that.

What if the problem isn’t only speed?

If the site doesn’t bring in requests in general, we don’t stop at speed: I look at it as a whole and tell you what’s worth doing first — improving it or rebuilding it.

Message me — I’ll handle it.

I’ll reply shortly.
